Membership

MEMBERSHIP OF THE ASSOCIATION

Membership of the Association is open to only Old Boys. An Old Boy may only join the Association at the Branch level.

Admission into membership of the Association is not automatic for any Old Boy but shall be by formal application through a Branch to the national body.

An Old Boy may be a financial member of only one Branch of the Association but may participate in the activities of other branches provided that he is not entitled to vote or be elected into office except in a Branch in which he is a financial member.

A PROSPECTIVE MEMBER OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL:

Be an Old Boy of the College as defined in clause 2c of the constitution, provided he was not expelled due to misconduct.
Be an Old Boy of the College as defined in clause 2c of the constitution, provided he was not expelled due to misconduct.
Append his signature to the section of the application form that specifically states that he shall abide by the rules and regulations of the Association.
Have two members of the Association countersign the prescribed application form

Admission Procedure

The prospective member shall:

(a) Procure membership application form for an amount prescribed by NEC from time to time.
(b) Complete and sign the application form.
(c) Be introduced by two members of the Association as a bona fide old boy.
(d) Pay in advance all or part of one-year membership due to the relevant branch.
(e) Affix his recent passport photograph to the membership application form
(f) Have the Branch President endorse the applicant form and forward the duplicate copy to the National Secretariat while the original copy is retained at the local Branch Secretariat
